Cast group's support model uses an end-to-end approach to add value to the business: from the quality of the requirement to the quantification of the benefit. The quantification of benefits uses an analysis of five competitive dimensions: Speed, Cost, Quality, Flexibility and On-Time Reliability.
The services can be carried out remotely or face-to-face, using simple processes and tools, guided by models recognized by the IT market, such as ITIL, COBIT, CMMi and PMI. The tools recommended by SAP, such as Solution Manager, are preferably used. The main groups of services are detailed below:
Service Desk
Cast group's service line provides initial support, capturing and classifying incidents and customer demands, as well as monitoring the delivery lifecycle, guaranteeing service level agreements (SLAs) in accordance with ITIL best practices.
The team responsible for this service is qualified for end-user service and acts as a single point of contact, as a solution agent when the needs are part of the 1-level scope (mainly user queries) and as a guide for Cast group's 2 and 3-level teams and also for other suppliers of its clients.
Functional and technical support
Cast group offers remote or local support for its clients' business processes and SAP technological environment (ABAP, Netweaver and BASIS), maintaining the availability of the functionalities implemented in accordance with service level agreements (SLA).
This line of service includes 2-level support, carried out by specialized staff and certified resources in SAP R/3, SAP BI, SAP PI, SCM, CRM, among others.
Improvements
The purpose of the Enhancements service line is to design, develop and test new functionalities or evolutions of existing functionalities, as requested by the client.
The service is provided remotely and/or locally by a dedicated team of functional and technical consultants, with a focus on developing viable evolutionary solutions for metrification, using tangible and market-recognized techniques.
Requests must be of a size that does not require formal project management structure (resource and budget management, PMO).
Monitoring solutions and applications on a basic basis
Cast group's BASIS solutions center remotely monitors SAP tools, databases, operating systems, servers, links and the client's infrastructure, with a focus on managing IT availability, capacity and continuity.
This line of service is carried out by trained and experienced professionals, through a technical checklist, with the aim of proactively optimizing processes and identifying actions to minimize the impact of infrastructure-related incidents, through service scripts and performance indicators.
Software factory
The Software Factory develops applications based on CMMI standards and procedures, guaranteeing excellence in the code produced. This line of service is designed to support projects with large code demands and develop applications tailored to the client's needs. The work can be carried out in the following cycles:
- Code factory.
- Physical design factory (code, design and technical validation).
- Logical design factory (physical design, functional design and validation).
